In April 2014, our Chong Hai led
some of
us, Chak Ming, Soo Cheng, Sok Cheng, Molly, myself and Hong Tat and SK
(class of '62) and a few friends and spouse to Chengdu and Jiuzhaiguo.
In Chengdu we visited the great Buddha by the river, the famous Panda
research centre, public parks/reservoir and Wuhou temple (where Liu
Bei, Zhang Fei, Guan Yu and Zhuge Liang were immortalised in the Three
Kingdoms). Then we flew to Jiuzhaiguo, which is the most beautiful
place I have visited in China, where there is no pollution. It is a
photographer's dream but a painter's nightmare. Hope my pictures say
the thousand words.
