Dear Khai Choon,

A very big thank you for the marvellous holiday organised in Xiamen.

The hospitality is second to none.

Being met by two ravishing Holiday Inn Crown Prince Plaza hotel representatives at the airport and chauffeur driven ride through part of Xiamen to the hotel is really something. But to be received by the GM and the asst.GM and another lady staff of the hotel and then escorted to the hotel room  was colossal. It is nothing short of a royal reception. It was a wee bit much for a poor church mouse like me, having stayed abroad for too long to take. It was awe-inspiring.

I had to pinch myself to ascertain that it was no illusion or any hallucination due to some pharmaceutical side effect.

Happily it certainly did not turn out to be the case.

I must admit it was really delightful experience.

The company of friends and new friends with some of the staff like what Khoon Hin mentioned made the visit even more adventurous.

The scrumptious dinners coupled at times with some mind boggling concoctions was a constant source of excitement.

I strongly recommend the Chinese Traditional foot massage which was one of the main features of the holiday.

The outings to two famous temples(one on the island and the other on the mainland) , the Botanical garden, and the Two Universities ( Xiamen and JiMei) and another small island which kept 14 Foreign Nations (Japan & all Western Nations) at bay from Xiamen Island somewhat eqivalent of the "Bund" in Shanghai

This is something to yarn about for a long time to come.

So LCM you have missed a golden opportunity and the fun this time and hopefully you would be able make up for lost time the next time round.

So LCM, you can cry your heart out for the moment.

So long for now and regards to everyone.

Sincerely

Theng-Khing
