A Reunion
constitute a significant event
in any calender. This year it was decided that a Reunion was not
appropriate and therefore since many will be back in Penang
in April, a Get Together was scheduled at the Poolside Copthorne on 3rd
April. 30 people turned up and a simple buffet was made available.
New
in attendance this year were Tay Yew Hoong, Hng Ba Joo, Teh Yap Chye,
Sim Poh Pheng
and Rodney Teoh. We also had Lim Kok Beng joining us after a lapse of
some 42 years.
The cozy and relaxed poolside arrangements made catching up with old
times and updating each other of events in recent
past conducive. No speeches or teachers were presented and that gave
more time
for cameradie and laughter.
Reunions will only be held in 2010 for
45 years and 2015 for 50th Year and when the BiCentenary of PFS will
also take place. We will then be only 70.
So keep the last week of
March to the 1st week of April free each year and we can sit down in a
Get Together. Numbers are irrelevant and is on the basis of who is in
Penang then and able to come and join old friends. Just keep tab via
this website.
